Session 2 - Morning

I looked mostly at Curriki looking for math resources. I found many resources there, but I must admit I wasn't too impressed. I guess they are decent curriculum outlines and descriptions, but there weren't the resources I was hoping to find. I found some videos on solving equations, but they were basically a teacher voice explaining problems as they are worked on a virtual whiteboard. I feel like postings should be something that every teacher might not know to do in class. I realize that from time to time students will pay more attention to online videos than a teacher talking, but I hope for something that I am unable to do myself. The couple of videos I saw at WatchKnow seemed the same. There is value in having that resource available any time, so perhaps I could find applicable video tutorial links and post them on my website.

Delicious

I have heard much about PortaPortal and Delicious but never used them. After looking at the different options I created a Delicious account today. Although it is empty as I type this, I plan to populate it soon. You can find it here: http://delicious.com/mcneeldr.

Tech Course Day 1

I am researching blogging in general but looking for examples of high school math classrooms. I am finding plenty of examples of blogging about classroom use, but not so many examples.
